Buy or retire carbon
To create a carbon credit listing and offer them for sale in the Marketplace, you initially need to obtain tokens associated with a specific carbon offset project. In CyberTrees, there are two methods to accomplish this:
OPTION #1: Purchase or redeem tokens from a carbon pool.
Within the Marketplace, locate a project that piques your interest, and click on the project card to access its detailed information.
On the project details page, locate the Carbon Pool listing, and click "BUY."
On the Buy page, indicate the quantity of tonnes you wish to purchase.
Click "CONTINUE."
Subsequently, confirm the transaction and grant permission to the smart contract to transfer tokens on your behalf. Click "APPROVE," and once the approval transaction is successful, click "NEXT."
Finally, click "SUBMIT" to initiate the transaction.
Upon completion of the transaction, you will receive a confirmation message stating "Purchase Successful." You will also have the option to view the transaction on CyberTrees Explorer and check your carbon Portfolio.
OPTION #2: Buy from a seller listing. ( This feature is under construction)
